Day 1
International flights from New Zealand to New York. On arrival into New York a representative will be waiting to transfer you to your accommodation.


Day 2 - New York
Today is a guided tour of Upper and Lower Manhattan. You will see Times Square, Madison Square Garden, the Empire State Building, Greenwich Village, Little Italy, Chinatown, Soho, the Statue of Liberty and Battery Park, Wall Street, South Street Seaport, the United Nations Building and the Rockefeller Center. You will stop for a brief visit to St John the Divine, the largest gothic cathedral in the world.


Evening excursion to the Empire State Building. A New York City Landmark and a National Historic Landmark, which soars more than a quarter of a mile into the atmosphere above the heart of Manhattan, it has always been a must-see on every visitors list.


Day 3 - New York
Morning visit to to the Museum of American Financial History. In the afternoon you will take part in a class at the Museum.


This afternoon visit the United Nations where you will learn about the work of the different United Nations organs, such as the Security Council and the General Assembly. The General Assembly Hall is where all 193 Members States of the Organization convene to discuss global issues.


Day 4 - New York
Morning excursion to Wall Street for a guided tour of the Federal Reserve Bank. Enjoy an introduction to the Federal Reserve System and the Bank’s role in setting monetary policy, promoting financial stability and serving communities to advance economic growth. Visit the gold vault where the Bank acts as a custodian for gold owned by various governments and international agencies. The tour is an interactive educational experience to engage visitors in conversation about the central bank of the United States.


Afternoon excursion to Wall Street for your Wall Street Insider Tour. Discover world famous financial landmarks such as the New York Stock Exchange and Wall Street. You will learn about the 400 years of history that led to modern Wall Street, see where high powered meetings take place, be inspired by how some of the biggest US financial institutions were built, and discover the Financial District’s rich history, architecture and trivia. The tour includes New York Stock Exchange, Federal Hall, House of Morgan, Trump Tower, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, Federal Reserve, Charging Bull, Trinity Church and more.


Day 5 - New York
Go behind the scenes on an NBC Studio Tour, where two NBC Pages (who deliver plenty of inside stories and anecdotes along the way) will lead you through an assortment of studios and sets of the network’s best-known shows, including a peek into the buzzing heartbeat of NBC: the Broadcast Operations Center. Depending on show schedules, you may see the studios of “Saturday Night Live,”the “Today” show, “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” “Nightly News with Brian Williams” and “Football Night in America.”


Afternoon visit to The Statue of Liberty. The Statue of Liberty was a gift of friendship from the people of France to the people of the United States and is a universal symbol of freedom and democracy. Visit the Statue of Liberty National Monument and the Ellis Island Immigration Museum, both only a short ferry ride from Battery Park.


Day 6 - New York
Visit Ground zero and Museum. The Museum is an educational and historical institution honoring the victims and examining 9/11 and its continued global significance through artifacts and records.
Macy’s Guided Tour. Tours explore Macy’s incredible retailing history and the architecture unique to the store you’re in. Get insider information on marketing and merchandising industry secrets like why products for the home are sold on the top floor and why mannequins usually don’t have facial features.


Day 7- Washington DC
Coach transfer to Washington DC. On arrival into Washington you will have a guided tour of The Pentagon.


Day 8 - Washington DC
Today you will have a guided visit starting with a guided tour of Capitol Hill. See the Capitol, Senate and White House to understand the core of the US Government. Continue to the Air and Space Museum before visiting the Lincoln, Washington Korea and Vietnam Memorials.


This evening visit the Arlington National Cemetery where the dead of the nation’s conflicts have been buried, beginning with the Civil War.


Day 9 - Washington DC
This morning is free time to further explore Washington. Afterwards the group can take the short walk to the National Mall and spend the afternoon visiting the Smithsonian Museums. Of particular interest will be the National Air & Space Museum and the National Gallery of Art.


Evening return flights to New Zealand.


Optional Day 10 - Los Angeles
Flight to Los Angeles. Sightseeing tour of the LA area which will include Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, Mann’s Chinese Theatre and the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Olvera Street, and Santa Monica.


Optional Day 11 - Los Angeles
Full day visit to Disneyland and California Adventure Park. Evening return flights to New Zealand.
